Add Northside Tradie Sites as a manager on your Google Business Profile
This takes about 3 minutes. It lets me set up and look after your Google profile without ever needing your password. You stay the owner and can remove me any time.
Choose Manager (not Owner).
Sign in to the right Google account
Go to business.google.com and sign in with the Google account that owns your business profile. If you have a few Google accounts, check the picture at the top right is the one you used to set up the business.
Open your business profile
Search for your exact business name on Google while signed in (or choose it from the list on business.google.com). Your profile appears with a row of buttons for editing your profile.
Open the settings menu
Select the three dots ⋮ (More), then Business Profile settings.
Go to People and access
Select People and access.
Add me
Select Add near the top of the page, then type [email protected] in the email box.
Choose Manager, then Invite
Under “Access”, choose Manager, then select Invite. Managers can edit your profile info, reply to reviews and post updates. They can't add or remove other users or delete your profile.
Send me a quick email
Call me on 0456 531 279, reply to my email or write to [email protected] to say “invite sent”, with your business name. I'll accept it and get started.
Good to know
- You stay the owner. You can see everyone with access, and cancel a pending invite, on the same People and access page.
- To remove me later: go back to People and access, select my name, then Remove person.
- Invite not arriving? The invite must go to a Google Account email. Check the address is typed exactly as above and look in spam. If Google says it isn't a Google Account, call or email me and I'll send you a different address to use.
- Don't have a Google Business Profile yet? That's fine. Tell me, and I'll walk you through creating and verifying one. Google's verification (a code by phone, video or post) has to be done by you, as the business owner.
- I won't ask for your Google password. If anyone asks you to share it, say no.
These steps match Google's own instructions, which you can read here: Manage your Business Profile owners & managers (Google Business Profile Help). Google sometimes changes button names; if something looks different, call me or email me a screenshot and I'll point you to the right spot.
